... leaving the darkness behind for a new light …

Today's the day!!! Ed Carlsen's new record Morning Hour is born into the world, and what can we say...give this thing a listen!

Ed has truly crafted something wonderful, creating an uplifting and fresh batch of songs that are at once profound and hopeful. Catchy piano and guitar driven hooks meet impeccably layered production as his modern classical roots blossom into a beat driven and electronic world.

Hands, Heart - the third single from Ed Carlsen's upcoming LP Morning Hour - is out now! The track is an introspective look at the relationship between physical proficiency (hands) and inner creativity / soul (heart). You can discover the beautiful and patient musical gestures crafted by Carlsen with his trademark impeccable production on all digital outlets.

Sebastian Plano has done a lovely rework of Tom Adams’ track Particle V and it's out now in all of those digital shops and streaming sites. Can’t think of a better to start the week-end!

Tambour returns with his third EP 'Constellations'

Constellations is Tambour at his finest - evocative piano melodies and ambient analog synthesizers paired with sweeping strings and french horn arrangements performed by the Mommies on the run string quartet (Patrick Watson) and Pietro Amato (Arcade Fire) - delicate and intimate moments give way to dramatic overtures, pulling the listener into a world of wonder.

Mixed by Mark Lawson in Montreal and mastered by Martyn Heyne at Lichte Studio (Berlin).

Morning Hour

We are very excited to announce the upcoming release of Ed Carlsen's sophomore LP Morning Hour on September 27th. Written, recorded and produced over the last two years in Denmark, Poland and Italy, the record finds Carlsen taking his melodic modern classical sensibilities to new terrain, fusing string textures with electronica and melodic piano with swelling electric guitar, all the while exploring a diversity of upbeat and downtempo feels. We'll be sharing sounds, visuals and tidbits about the record throughout the summer, so stay tuned!

You can pre-order a CD / digital copy of the album + stream the first single Words on your favorite digital platform here : https://orcd.co/ec-words

Snorri Hallgrímsson's Imperial

Written on his in-law's piano on Imperial Street in Toronto, this number was intended for his 2018 record Orbit. It was tough not to see it make the record as we fell in love with it, but came to agree that it had a different vibe to the rest of the album. A year after Orbit's release, we're excited to be sharing this one with you.
